ASLI OZER - Co-Founder

Meet Asli Ozer, one of our founders. Asli, a singer/songwriter, brings with her over 12 years of corporate experience as a sales manager in a global company. After many years, she made the courageous decision to completely transform her life and wholeheartedly pursue her passions.

Leveraging her extensive expertise in sales and marketing, along with her artistic flair, Asli empowered herself to create a makeup brand that is not only top-notch but also distinctively unique. An ardent advocate for diversity and inclusivity, she firmly believes that makeup should be genderless and accessible to all. This conviction led her to join forces with Oguzhan in establishing the gender-free beauty brand, MA’WA.

Throughout her life, Asli's unyielding passion for music and art has been a guiding force, and she consistently adheres to the philosophy of wholeheartedly chasing one's passions.

OGUZHAN YUCEL - Co-Founder

Oguzhan discovered his love for makeup during his university years, experimenting with various techniques. After earning his degree in chemical engineering, he dedicated himself to his passion, transitioning into a professional makeup artist.

Combining his proficiency in both chemistry and makeup, Oguzhan has successfully crafted products that are not only of superior quality but also visually captivating. Armed with a profound insight into what complements individuals and meets the expectations of a cosmetic brand, he collaborated with Asli to launch the MA’WA brand, providing a platform for individuals to express their unique styles.
